Do you know about all of the financial assistance resources that the Division of Child Care and Early Childhood Education (DCCECE) offers providers? If you have experienced increased business costs due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we encourage you to see if your program qualifies for the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) of 2021.

Operational Grant
Assists facilities in paying for expenses during and after this public health emergency. Allowable budget categories include salaries, paid time off, retention bonuses, rent or mortgage, utilities, facility maintenance, health and safety items, and more.

ARPA Quality Improvement Grant
Assists with improving the level of quality at your facility allowable budget categories include: New staff sign-on bonuses, substitutes, minor renovations, furniture and equipment, curriculum resources and supplies, parent involvement, professional development, and more. CCDF participants must be Better Beginnings Level 2 by July 2022.

Expansion Grant
Allows you to increase the availability of quality child care and early childhood education in communities with an identified shortage or no service for infants. Allowable budget categories include personnel costs, fringe benefits, technology, health and safety items, insurance, and more.
